In 2006, Sandeep did something almost unheard of in the world of Carnatic Music. He left his home in Los Angeles and moved to India, a bold and pioneering step to fully immerse himself in his art. His career has since been marked by numerous accolades, including a Juno Award nomination and an invitation to become a GRAMMY® Voting Member of The Recording Academy. He has also been honored with the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar from the Government of India and named "Artiste of the Year" by the Mandolin Shrinivas Institute of World Musique.

 

Beyond the stage, Sandeep is a dedicated teacher, nurturing the next generation of artistes and instilling a deep appreciation for the heritage and emotional depth of Carnatic Music. He regularly connects with audiences across the globe, performing in live concerts throughout India, North America, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
